José Joaquín de Olmedo Airport is awarded by SKYTRAX once more.
During the Passenger Terminal Expo 2013, which took place in Geneva (Switzerland), SKYTRAX celebrated its World Airport Awards gala. This time, José Joaquín de Olmedo Airport was awarded as the Best Regional Airport of South America, determined by users.
We also received other awards in the following categories:
- 2nd place Best Airport in South America
- 2nd place Best Staff in South America
- 3rd place Best Airport in the World with a capacity of under 5 million passengers
- Ranked 45 amongst the 100 best airports in the world (up 11 places).
