Airport of Guayaquil receives ACI award

The awards given by the Airports Council International (ACI) in their (ASQ) Airport Service Quality program congratulated the Airport of Guayaquil for the quality of its services. Since the award's inception in the year 2006, they have have become the world's leading airport quality and service survey, with around 320 airports in 80 countries participating worldwide.

During the ACI's 27th General Assembly in the island of Mauritius in Africa the 17th of October of 2017, the awards ceremony took place. This year the Airport of Guayaquil is keeping its leadership as the Best Airport in the Latinamerican and Caribbean region, Best Airport in the Latinamerican and Caribbean region with capacity for 2 to 5 million passengers, and the Best Airport Worlwide in the 2 to 5 million passenger capacity category.

Ezequiel Barrenechea – Executive Vicepresident of TAGSA, Econ. Luis Carrera del Río – President of the Airport Authority of Guayaquil, and Gen. Ángel Córdova Carrera- General Manager of TAGSA traveled to receive the awards in behalf of the Airport of Guayaquil.
