Traveler's Documents
Ecuadoreans:
- Valid Passport
- Valid Visa (stamped on the Passport) for the country of destiny, if required, or residence card
- National Identity Card
- Vaccination certificate, if necessary for the country of destiny
Ecuadorean Minors:
- Valid Passport
- Visa (stamped on the Passport) for the country of destiny, if required, or residence card
- National Identity Card
- Vaccination certificate, if necessary for the country of destiny
- Authorization given before a Notary Public or issued by the Judge of Minors (original and copy) given by the parents of the minor
- Authorizations shall be valid sixty to ninety days
- Ecuadorian minors residing abroad who stay for less than 90 days in the country are exempt of the Court Authorization
Foreign Residents
- Valid Passport
- Visa (stamped on the Passport) for the country of destiny, if required, or residence card
- National Identity Card
- Foreigner's census
- Note: Foreign resident minors traveling with one parent or without parents require notarized authorization or Authorization issued by the Judge of Minors (original and copy) given by the parent(s) of the minor
Non-resident foreigners:
- Valid Passport
- If the stay exceeds 90 days without previously requesting an extension, it is advised to contact Migration offices before your flight.

On the other hand, citizens of the Popular Republic of China, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan and Somalia, require a visa to enter Ecuador
