01/03/2021 - Airports Council International (ACI) has once more awarded the Airport of Guayaquil with their "Airport Service Quality" Award (ASQ) as the Best Airport in their category and region (2 to 5 million passengers per year, Latinamerica and Caribbean region). This award is the result of user surveys taken by ASQ throughout the year, and with 2020 having been full of difficulties, makes this award all the more important to us for offering a level of service our users value and recognize.

"ACI’s Airport Service Quality awards represent the highest possible accolade for airport operators around the world,” ACI World Director General Luis Felipe de Oliveira said. “This year more than any other, the awards recognize those airports that have listened to their customers and adapted the services and experiences they offer to meet changing needs and expectations under very trying circumstances."

Award ceremony for this year's ACI award, which took place in Montreal on September, 2021.

Early September, in Montral, the Airports Council International organized their annual "Airport Service Quality" award ceremony, to award the airports whose services and quality are internationally recognized.

The awards were obtained by airports in Guayaquil and Quito, once more holding Ecuador's name up high and demonstrating commitment with the country's tourism, marking both José Joaquín de Olmedo and Mariscal Sucre airports as the best airports in Latin America in their respective categories.

This award confirms the Airport of Guayaquil and TAGSA's commitment to serve their passengers and visitors. We are always focused on offering quality and security, as well as technological innovation. TAGSA also offers their congratulations to Quiport and their President, Ramón Miro, for the award obtained.
