New scanners and monument presented at the Airport
07/19/2012 - TAGSA offered a press conference to reveal the awards the Airport of Guayaquil has received due to its service quality. Afterwards we officially presented the new security scanners localed inside International preboarding. Helping the police with their delicate work, these scanners can detect objects adhered to the passenger's body without invading their privacy or being hazardous to their health. The Airport of Guayaquil became the first airport in Latin America to have this system.
In previous days we also inaugurated the Monument to Fallen Aviators located right as users enter the Terminal grounds. The Major of Guayaquil, Ab. Jaime Nebot, was present for the event.
