TAGSA presents City with expanded José Joaquín de Olmedo's Passenger Terminal

08/01/2014 - In the presence of the Mayor of Guayaquil, on July 31st, TAGSA inaugurated the expansion areas for the Domestic Terminal in José Joaquín de Olmedo Airport. With an attendee number of around 450 people, TAGSA's General Manager - Gral Ángel Córdova Carrera - insisted on the commitment that our parterns Corporación América and Dellair have with the City.

The Mayor, Abg. Jaime Nebot Saadi, congratulated TAGSA for delivering the new expansion within the accorded time, furthering our status as a safe and modern airport that offers its users quality services and earned us the title of the Best Airport in Latin América and the Caribbean.

After the initial opening and blessing at the hand of Father Oscar Uribe, attendees could visit the expansion of the Domestic Boarding and Arrivals Terminal. With an investment of nearly 15 million and a total of 60.000mt of facilities, and now capacity to serve over 7 millions passengers per year, today the Airport of Guayaquil is the biggest airport in the country.
