Certificate of renewal of our Airport Carbon Accreditation in level 3+, 'Neutrality'.

26/09/2024 - Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport is pleased to inform the public that it has successfully renewed its Carbon Footprint Accreditation level 3+ "Neutrality" from the Airports Council International for Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC), once again meeting the criteria of the Airport Carbon Accreditation program, which has six levels of certification and is the only global program for the accreditation and management of carbon emissions related to airports.

This accomplishment by the Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport has been made possible by meeting the requirements for reducing CO2 emissions, getting the airport community involved, and responsibly offsetting residual CO2 emissions as part of our commitment to efficient management of natural resources in our operations, through reducing energy and fossil fuel consumption, in line with environmental protection management and actions to combat climate change.
