ACI Presents Awards to TAGSA

During the annual ceremony of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, organized by Airports Council International (ACI) and held on September 7, 2023, in Incheon, South Korea, representatives of TAGSA were present to receive the distinctions awarded to Guayaquil Airport this year.

In March 2023, the results of this year's winners were announced, with the José Joaquín de Olmedo Airport in Guayaquil recognized as the Best Airport by Size and Region, as well as Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff, Easiest Airport Journey, Most Enjoyable Airport, and Cleanest Airport. In addition, the airport received Level 1 Certification in ACI's Airport Customer Experience Accreditation Program.

We Celebrate Guayaquil with New Recognitions

Terminal Aeroportuaria de Guayaquil S.A. (TAGSA) and Guayaquil Airport are proud to present their latest awards, with which we celebrate our city of Guayaquil during its festive month.

The Airports Council International (ACI) granted us the Level 1 Certification in its Airport Customer Experience Accreditation Program, which evaluates user experience management practices and measures their impact on our passengers and employees. This certificate adds to other recognitions awarded by ACI, including this year's distinction as the Best Airport by Size and Region, along with awards for Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff, Easiest Airport Journey, Most Enjoyable Airport, and Cleanest Airport.

Additionally, TAGSA received the 5-Star Recognition from EFQM, the European Foundation for Quality Management. The EFQM Model is a globally recognized framework that helps organizations manage change and improve their performance.

During the certification ceremony, CODEFE —the organization responsible for EFQM evaluations in Ecuador— presented our General Manager, General Ángel Córdova, with a special recognition for his outstanding leadership in fostering a culture of organizational excellence.

We Receive the 2023 ASQ Awards

The Airports Council International (ACI) has announced the annual winners of its Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, and we are proud to once again receive the award for Best Airport in the Latin America and Caribbean Region with a capacity of 2 to 5 million annual passengers.

This year, new award categories were introduced: Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff, Easiest Airport Journey, Most Enjoyable Airport, and Cleanest Airport. In the Latin America and Caribbean region, Guayaquil Airport received all these awards, which reflect the needs of our users and our ongoing commitment to meeting them.
