This international program allows passengers with non-visible disabilities to voluntarily identify themselves by wearing a sunflower lanyard, ensuring empathetic and personalized assistance throughout their journey at the airport.

How to Request the Sunflower Lanyard?

The service is available 24/7 at the airport information counters (international departures and arrivals).

We offer a 24-hour nursing room that provides comfort and privacy for mothers traveling through our airport.

How to Request Access?

Mothers should approach the information desk in the international arrivals hall and register. Then, a customer service assistant will grant access to the nursing room.

What Are the Rules for Using the Nursing Room?

Wheelchair Loan Service

We provide wheelchairs available 24/7 at the airport information counters (upper and lower levels) throughout the year for any passenger or companion with mobility limitations or other medical conditions. Wheelchairs are for use in public areas of the terminal. To access this service, you must present valid identification: ID card, driver's license, or passport, and complete a contact information form.

If you are a traveler and require wheelchair assistance during boarding or disembarking at Guayaquil Airport, you must request this service directly from your airline when purchasing your flight ticket.

Pet Therapy

We offer emotional support therapy with our assistance dog ⭐ Cafú ⭐. A therapist and Cafú are available in the terminal Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM to brighten your day.

Guayaquil Airport has a team of employees with hearing and speech disabilities, along with their supervisors, all trained in sign language. If you require assistance in sign language, please approach the information counters.

Priority Lines at Immigration, Security, and Customs

Priority lanes at Guayaquil Airport.

We offer priority access for passengers with reduced mobility, seniors, pregnant women, travelers with babies in arms or strollers, and individuals with physical or hidden disabilities wearing the HD Sunflower lanyard. These priority lanes allow faster processing at Immigration, Security, and Customs. To use them, simply go to the area marked with priority service icons.
